The Charles W. Logsdon Elizabethtown Downtown Walking Tour uses history and theater to bring our downtown alive to the community and visitors alike. Our costumed characters reenact historic downtown events offering a chance to experience a bit of the past. First performed in the Summer of 1988, the Tour script was written by Charlie Logsdon and Bob Beimdick.
Charlie loved his community and recognized the outstanding progress made through efforts of people working together blending the old with the new. After his death in 2000, members of the community continued to honor Charlie and what he created by carrying on with the Downtown Walking Tour.
The Downtown Walking Tour is held at 7p.m every Thursday from June through September, starting at 32 Public Square. No reservations required along with free admission. Join us and come experience how Historic Downtown Elizabethtown comes to life.
